For more than 38 years, I have had the privilege of working as a nurse in the field of hospice care. The first hospice doctors I encountered were Dr Sherman, Dr Gordon, Dr Hines, and Dr Ungerleider. Each amazing and compassionate pioneering hospice physicians, focused on the patient and family’s comfort (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) and so willing to teach the rest of us on the hospice team. Since then I have continued. to encounter and be touched by our amazing, skilled, kind, and devoted hospice physicians…thanks to each of you who have impacted my life. To our current physicians at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton: Dr Ahern (Medical Director), Dr Cass, Dr Jaffery, Dr Murali, Dr R.
